    Gas has been emptied from the lawn mower and the carb has been run dry. See you in 7 months my trusty old Briggs and Stratton.

    Had to get the bags of empties out of the yard before the snow started. I beat the snowflakes by a half hour.

    I approach the task differently. Any leftover gas at end of lawn season goes into the snowmower, then at end of snow season any leftover gas goes into the lawnmower.

    But the big issue is to make sure the carb bowl and jets are dry. Otherwise you might suffer from gummed up jets and a no start come spring.

    Yeah I used to consider that. Not sure however if it has ever been an issue. Then again, my snowthrower and push lawnmower never run smoothly either.
