Actually, it's still too humid to open up the house. That will cause more problems than it is worth right now.

The next two or three days are supposed to be low humidity on the Gulfside over here. Didn’t you just get all the rain and “cold front” too?

We got a little rain. We are in a funky area where most of the heavy weather goes around us. Not all of the time but enough. Humidity is 97% this morning. 78°. NNE wind off the Atlantic bringing the humidity.

Speaking as someone who spent the first half of my life in Wisconsin and Illinois, I can relate to that! Glad I'm not there anymore.

As with others, I spent the majority of my life in Michigan with cold winters and the worst roads in the country and I will take Jacksonville over Michigan any day of the week and gladly put up with the few cold days we get here. The smooth roads alone are worth moving here for.

Never been to Michigan but I would raise you that Alaska roads are the worst in the country. When I'm down below, I tend to speed unwittingly because of the smooth roads.

So I got an answer from HR Dept yesterday . She said she would try to get an answer from the hiring manager and get back to me. I never heard from her yesterday and I will give her till the end of day today (they are in Washington state, so I'll give them till 8pm est). If I don't hear from her I will contact the other company and see if initial offer is still on the table.
