I have had it since 2012 when I spent two weeks in a VA hospital and almost lost my leg. My doctor told me once you have had it as bad as I did, it compromised my immune system and it can come back as it did in 2014 when I spent 3 days in the hospital on IV antibiotics.

This is the fist time they have given me oral antibiotics because my white cell count was up. I am well aware what it can do and know the symptoms when they occurs, so I can get to the hospital.

It left a nasty scar on my right leg from the first time i had it, but I still here and owe a lot to the doctors and nurses at the Ann Arbor VA for saving my life.
If your doctor told you that your immune system was compromised by a bacterial infection, he was a quack.

Your immune system may have been overwhelmed during the infection back in 2012. I would think that you are now more susceptible to new infections due to venous stasis caused by the initial infection.

If I remember correctly Diddly Squat had a public access show in NYC back in the 80's.
I'm sure @MB64 would remember that.

I don't remember much about the show and I don't think we watched it much. However, I certainly remember Super Dave. The stunts were often at the end of the show and we often caught them when tunning in for whatever the next show was going to be. The next show must have been one of the few regular shows we watched back then.

Yep, Super Dave was the highlight of the show and my favorite was the “Pile Driver” skit, I have found a few of his skits on YouTube, but can’t find the pile driver one.

Did you get the stand-up angled ones that I have seen advertised? We use 10oz or 12oz paper bowls for Axle. Costs a little more but saves some elbow grease, which I choose to run out of, or room in the dishwasher.
I didn’t. This is the first I’ve heard of those. Mine are dishwasher friendly bowls.

I actually thought that it was kind of silly. Just a marketing ploy. Axle can eat in just about any position even laying down. He even lays on the concrete garage floor with his head resting on the water bowl. Looks like a drunk in the gutter with his head on the curb.
However, that being said, we had to get a stand for one of the Schnauzers food bowls because he was having trouble eating when he had to reach down to the floor. Raising his bowl helped. Of course, he's the picky one. The other two don't have any trouble eating down at floor level.

It can be very bad and even deadly. I had the flesh eating bacteria once, that wasn't good either.

So are there any Lord Stanley traditions we should observe down here in Tampa while the Cup (more like a giant ash tray) is living here? It was here before in 2004 but so much has changed. Selfies and COVID-19 with everything in between has made this odd times. Perhaps we request Tom Brady or the Gronk to do something to commemorate it’s visit?

Where does Lord Stanley usually reside?

I would think that it would be in the Arena but if the fans can't get in, I don't know. The Hurricanes had it when I was in North Carolina but I don't remember where it was. I'm not a hockey fan.
