Specialty donut shops saw a bit of an upward trend a few years back here in Canada. There are no some really good ones out there.

I'm with you, bakron! Apple cider and simple cider donuts are the best! Note to self: time to put apple cider on the grocery list!

There are some really detailed adult colouring books out there. I never had the patience for colouring when I was a kid. Never stayed between the lines properly when I was really young. For me, I wouldn't go near those adult colouring books.

I edited the post, adding the words (collective, collectively) in quotes part about 90 seconds after I wrote the original post. Not two hours, but that’s right, 1.5 minutes, because that’s what I’ve meant regarding this specific topic.

Of course, you can read it as the “personal” you if you’d like, as if that makes you feel better to answer the question. My post though, was a general question to any “you” that would like to answer.

That’s the one thing I will miss dearly here in Florida is the cider mills opening in the fall back in Michigan. We had a couple we went to since I was a little tike, nothing like cold apple cider and fresh plain donuts, they can keep the spice favored ones, I fed those to the squirrels and the ducks.

Yep, my brother and I are planning to be at bike week in Daytona next year.

The good ones are the ones made fresh, deep fried, dipped in powdered sugar or cinnamon etc. They come in a bag of dozen or so.

3-4 mini donuts equal one regular donut. You can find packaged ones in gas station with the hostess and little Debbie snacks and pastries

Used to have a couple of old school polish and Ukrainian bakeries back home that made custard donuts to die for, they also made speciality donuts from scratch and if you didn’t get there early, they quickly sold out and you where out of luck.

A cool morning here at the Lake City Florida VA, my twin brother took a bad fall this morning and here having his foot x-rayed and hopefully no broken bones, it’s wait and see.

Have to sit outside because no visitors allowed in the hospital because of the CV-19 issues, but it’s a nice day and the fresh air will do me some good.
