I am not sure about any of the phones anymore. Kind of sad, but I guess they gotta make their money somehow.
Yep. I gave up on trying to be super secret anymore. If they want to it doesn't matter anyway, they can.

I find it funny some people think the covid19 vaccine will have a tracking chip in it when we get one.

I have news, if you have a cell phone and take it everywhere with you, you already have a tracking chip on you.

Yeah it's a crappy kind of world right now. Hopefully in a year or two max we'll be back to an acceptable kind of normal.
Yep. Not really too worried about it. I was looking for a job when I found this one.

Indeed. However, I still like to keep things straight and organized. For default Android (and it's probably worse for Samsung cause there is another Samsung layer) you have to dig to find where the passwords are being stored. With BB10 there was a nice and clear separate app that was used.

The Samsung A21 is coming along. It's really big compared to the Z10, but nice to have a phone that seems to actually work. I have most of the Samsung account left off, and trying to get by with the minimum of google stuff on.

Blackberry keyboard doesn't show up for me in play store. I have an older apk running. Seems to work well on the a21.

You won't find just the keyboard in the play store. I'm not sure if it's included in the hub+ app.

Had used cobalts work around for awhile but I'm done with work arounds too

They stay until you go into jiggly mode. That’s right jiggly mode. Press and hold the screen and you can delete them. Glad to hear from you rags.

BB VKB not included with anything since it’s not really BB to sell. It actually is licensed from SwiftKey and BB modified.

You can't get the BlackBerry keyboard on Android unless you do the Cobalt stuff. And that's really too bad.

Correct but it's too bad because the SwiftKey keyboard is just not anywhere close. Which reminds me, there was an update the other day and now whenever the keyboard comes up to type I get a null icon on the space bar for a few seconds. Anyone have any idea about that? I thought it was there in play store for a bit. Yes I know it is built upon swiftkey, but I assume BB had license rights to package that as part of their keyboard. They sold it as part of the Android Priv and their other Android phones did they not?

Anyone know if cobalt is still doing his stuff? I used to have his file share site url but can't find it anymore. If I remember, he used to also have a "blackberry manager" , which he kept up to date with all the releases that also came out for the Priv on Play Store.

Yes but it appears it was licensed as part of software to use as part of hardware. I expect it was licensed in specific way to limit the licensing expenses BlackBerry ever paid out.

Yes and he just acknowledged specific issue with Android 11 pushed out.

Actually it was included on the Priv because it is a BlackBerry device.
