No. I always wanted to do that but we didn't have enough snow in Eastern North Carolina.

For most of the "messages" out there, one needs to assume there is at least some sort of political motivation or bias in the background. I am sure that some of the "raw data" sites could have some form of manipulation incorporated. However, I think that for the most part, most of the "raw data" sites out there reportimg COVID numbers are trying to simply present the numbers, no goal of manipulation at all.

Now, the viewers of the data still need to know what they are looking at. For example, it is useless to look at the daily rates for the US and to try to compare them to the daily rates of Canada. That would probably involve a bunch of fake news to try to make arguments from some of those types of graphs, if one does not also factor in things like time, circumstances, per capita and testing rates. However, to think that the graphs themselves are fake news and can't be trusted would and of itself be believing fake news. The graphs are just numbers.
Apparently, there’s huge confusion with several hospitals that were only reporting positive results and this has corrupted the statistical data compilation. At this point, it’s just huge bowl of data soup and it’s attempting to be unwound between state of Florida agencies with all the hospitals and counties in the state.

Nobody has any idea what’s correct but this somehow related with Trump’s comments about the CDC and related state agencies since it’s suspected Florida isn’t alone.

It's a mess. A huge one. It opens the door to other states having this happen. I'm so over it all. I'm hanging in here but our hopes of getting a house or manufactured home have been squashed for now. My lease isn't up until May 2021 though, so hopefully things will start looking up.

That scenario would seem to impact calculations for graphs about cases per tested, or graphs about tracking number of tests performed, and such.

We had a blip in Ontario a while back where they said there were "lost cases", a computer error where there were several hundred cased that didn't get into the data and weren't noticed as an error until much later.

These things will happen. Unless there's a suggestion that people are maliciously making these errors or purposely creating confusion to mess up the numbers, I'd say that in general the data can be trusted.

However, everyone also needs to remember that there are probably millions and millions of us that have had it and never noticed and not showing up in the data.

Also, from the graphs I've seen the US is way out in front of many countries in terms of the number of tests conducted per capita. So, if there are even more tests that were conducted in the US (negative test results) that were not counted, it simply makes the cases per tested analysis even better. It however doesn't change the cases (positive) per capita or the deaths per capita.
