Bugs are bad my way also. That time of year when the deer flies are now out. Can't go out in the back yard without a hat or ones head gets bitten.

My grass/lawn is all dead. Too dry. "Dormant" as my Dad would say (it will come back in late Aug once the hot weather leaves).

This past weekend was hornet weekend for me also. Found a nest in the back side of the trailer. Spend about two hours getting rid of it. Only got stung three times, near the end, as I started to let down my guard. Got chased about 20 times but was able to fend them always off.

Then at the end of the day found another nest in the tree house we were going to take down. Had to go up into the tree house and toss the table (they had built their nest under a kids table we had up there) out, nest and all still attached. Didnt get stung doing that but close. Then the next day some were still around as we pulled the tree house down and started to dismantle it. Got stung only four times. Couldn't get the full thing dismantled because some wouldn't leave.

Went to the bar tonight, got mad when leaving. A drunk stoned idiot got a little too close as I was leaving and tried to put his arm around me. He won't be coming back for a while.
