The data for testing has been steady for weeks. The spikes are happening due to younger people hitting the bars for the most part.
There has been very little testing done around here. My dad goes to the emergency room with pneumonia and spent a few days in the hospital and they didn't test him even though he went in with breathing and lung issues.

They are testing way more people now is the biggest reason for the spikes. When you don't test there are no numbers for asymptomatic people. You test and there they are.

Correct. Now add in all of those at the dear leaders rallys. Of course the turnout was much smaller than he predicted, but one can only hope that it will be spread to many more of his rabid supporters.
The BLM protesters were outdoors which is one reason they haven't shown a spike. Along with wearing masks.
The rallies I was speaking were the same type outdoor in Michigan, California, Pennsylvania, Colorado and Georgia where the participants were protesting the business shutdowns and not being allowed to open.

They were arguing free speech rights and right to assemble. They were threatened with arrest. It’s no different than BLM gatherings but different reasons. For the record, I oppose both gatherings only from standpoint that even outdoor crowds aren’t good idea. Again, if either side wants to attend, how does that affect me? Once I choose to leave my property, I have to accept that it could be deadly for me...

That wasn't data to refute your position. You just seemed interested so I thought you'd find it informative.

That’s a natural human survival trait for 1,000s of years. It would be ridiculous to believe that will change any more than we think we can truly alter Mother Nature such as tornadoes, hurricanes or the climate.

It's unfortunate you feel that way. Sounds like you have the ultimate get out of accountability card in your possession. It certainly makes your life easier though.

Thanks. I have seen it. I still think the spike is due to more testing than anything else.

Hint...testing doesn't cause the hospitals to fill up.
