Absolutely! And I do it without actually touching you!
So you produce the same effect as rubbing an abrasive object on my head?

The local burger joint here is still open, only for takeout if you have ordered in advance. They actually make a "brunch burger" - with cheese of your choice, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a fried egg. Served on a bed of regular or sweet potato fries. I've had it - it pretty much ends up being my only meal of the day, because it's so filling! Hmmm, tempting option for an early Sunday dinner!

Ahhhh, Instacart. I knew of their existence but because in a normal world, I can take public transp to any of 4 or 5 groceries, I've always done my own food shopping, often stopping on the way home from work to pick up something I needed.

Of course all that has changed - there is no more more "on the way home from work" and I find taking public transp very stressful now - I only do it when I absolutely have to. Even though we are told about all the efforts made to keep trains and busses clean, still I won't use them unless I am wearing medical gloves and a mask. Too many railings and other touch points to be wary of. Not to mention transferring those touch points to whatever gets touched in the grocery store - and thousands of people do this every day. Stuff I never cared about before now totally makes me break out in a sweat.

I'll check out Instacart - thanks, grover!
I use instacart. Depending on the grocery store they deliver within 2 hours. Fresh produce is hit or miss based on the shopper.

It’s definitely a good option in our current environment rags. Stay safe and avoid public transit if you can.

Since there's not all that much to do these days, I'm starting a summer course soon, starts soon. Probably going to miss not having to do all that much

Got totally stiffed on rain though. Had a couple of weak showers then it went to my east. The drought continues.... though there are some rain chances coming up in the middle of the week and wet season is getting close

Thanks - doing my best! Last Thursday I had to go to our office. As soon as I got there, the gloves got peeled into the waste basket, and I washed my hands thoroughly before I sat at my desk. I brought clean gloves with me, so just before leaving, I washed my hands again and put those on. I also made a pit stop on the way home, to Whole Foods, picked up some oranges, bread, and 2 tubs of their fresh ground peanut butter (which I love and can't get anywhere else). So at least I'm set for working lunches!

But honestly, all the details one has to remember now, just to go out in public. And I see so many people who don't bother with any of it. No mask, no distancing, etc. And that's only going to get worse, as stores open again and people start shopping in crowds again. I normally didn't ever mind crowds at all. Scares the crap outta me now.
