WOW! i JUST HAD THE WEIRDEST TRIP. I DELETED A POST WHICH TAKES ME BACK TO PAGE ONE.
I STOPPED TO DO SOMETHING AND DIDN'T REALIZE i WAS BACK THERE. WHAT THROUGH ME OFF WAS THAT YOU WERE THERE AND I DIDN'T LOOK AT THE DATE.
i STARTED RIGHT IN., IT APPEARED THAT A TOUR BUS HAD STOPPED AND JUST LIKE TOURIST THERE WERE REMARKS LIKE:
"GREAT THREAD" AND "I LIKE WHERE THIS IS GOING"

iT WAS SO BIZARRE ... THEN "THOR" WAS MENTIONED.....
I'm relieved that no one was watching or read the 4 posts I wrote. But, it was the kind of wonderland a legal Alien Dreams of.

Looks like it is VIA Rail powered from the early 70s. Did you know the front of those had concrete in them, in the nose cone sections? Apparently, it was to provide stable smashing capabilities for risk of collisions at crossings, due to the predicted speed. Canada's experimentation in "fast trains" along the Montreal to Windsor corridor from what I remember.

Edit: Correction. It was steel beams, not concrete, and during the maiden demo trip in Canada with journalists embarked there was a collision at a crossing. Train vs truck at high speed.

I think the plane is made out of the same material as the black box, but it's just that the black box is buried installed within the plane in a location that maximizes it's chance of survival.
