Growing up we had an 85" yacht /with a dingy, Riva speedboat, canons, jet skies and in all that time I never saw anything
remotely resembling anything like that . At least, it wasn't called a boat.. Looks more like scrap metal.
But, then maybe that's what you perceive to be a boat. In my book, my mother couldn't understand my long hair beads and bell bottoms and said why can't you just be normal like everyone else. So I set out see what she meant by normal I figured the best place to look was it home despite my parents hating each other .
First and foremost it was evident that keeping up with Joneses what's important. We had the largest house and The Longest Yard in the neighborhood. Not only did my dad buy a new Cadillac every year on my birthday but in less fortunate neighborhoods our lawn mower would have been considered a second car. And not only did my parents divorce, they remarried each other thereby leaving the Joneses way behind. In the end I concluded my parents were the anti normal.
I brought that up to compare my remark about scrap metal and the lawn mower being a second car just to drive my point.

It's not nice to profile.
The yacht ..the boats were my parents ,they weren't mine.
Have a Bachelors in business from Harvard Business College Princeton.... I worked hard for that.
I was classically trained piano violin. I also play multi keyboards guitars saxophone.... I studied hard to learn those.
I have a culinary arts degree cordon bleu California Culinary Academy San Francisco I worked hard for that.
I have a California state board license in cosmetology... I worked hard for that.
I have a broadcasting degree from the Brown Institute of Broadcasting Miami.... I worked hard for that.

All that hard work paid off because I have excelled at everything I've done.... And made it fun.
Contrary to what you may believe, I'm not a spoiled rich kid from New Jersey. my family was well off and while I went to the highest accredited prep schools they weren't really much different in public schools. We had to learn shame three basics
Shut up, sit down, go to the principal's office!
When we had a air raid drill we had to hide under our desks too. The only difference being our desks were made much better.
While my dad was absolutely the coolest guy, if my mother had had her way I would have been born a girl. If my mother had had her way she would have dressed me in Madras shirts, Chino's penny loafers with a crew cut.
I ended up in tie-dye shirts, bell bottoms, bare feet with hair below my waist.

Now that is some bragging. But also very impressive.

Well the original post was in response to the Tornado warning post that thought about having a martini or two. So for that situation, it seemed natural to me that such martinis should then be the stirred kind, not shaken. There was no rest.
