The pays not bad but it's hard to keep up with all the expenses I have. My wife has expensive tastes. She's never satisfied. You know all the latest things like diamond rings and those new cars with the ultra-glide. I gotta work hard to pay for all that stuff. Sometimes working eight shifts a week and it's not even enough.

So basically I'm digging holes and trenches and laying pipe down. Sometimes all night long. Laying that pipe down its hard work all night long. Laying that pipe down just to cover all those expenses to satisfy that woman I love.

I don't mind working hard as long as the money is good. I actually like the night shift cause I can sleep all day. I've been doing it for a while now. The dust and mud feels like it's in my blood.
