A suggestion about the lead underwear. ( don't worry. I can't even wrap the CONCEPT of that around my head) But, if you have to wear them, put a urinal cake in them. that way if you go shoddy, you'll be a step ahead.

I grew up in Miami... lived in Santa Cruz for some 38 years and for a time (in the 60's, 70's we didn't wear much clothes, let alone socks.
