Hey..Today is MOON DAY! How exciting is that!!

It says that Moon Day commemorates the day man first walked on the moon in 1969.
I don't think they got that one quite right, because I was flying all over the universe in 1969.

I'm pretty sure it's just a typo and they meant moon day as in bending over and "mooning" someone. I mean it's not even a "National" day.
So, let me be the first to wish you all an Awesome Moon day!

Rags.. got the perfect remedy for you.
It's my Maraschino Cherry Juice Theory.

There's no cure for cancer. They can't seem to come up with the answer.
Maraschino Cherry Juice has more preservatives in it than anything else concocted on this planet. If you were to add just one more preservative to it it would be a really great tasting
formaldehyde. When the universe implodes there will still be Maraschino Cherries floating through the void.
Well, if it can preserve that good, I've come to the conclusion that we all should be drinking Maraschino Cherry Juice. But wait!!
It would be even better if we fermented it first and made a great Maraschino Cherry Juice Wine. (Annie Greensprings couldn't hold a candle to it. And Ripple? Pffft!)

Yep. The answer is simple. A few shots of Maraschino Cherry Juice Wine and a six-pack of Twinkies and you're set for the day.

Well, I think of these things so you don't have to!

It's actually an international meal ( and I got it ALL at the local market!)
I like to make everything myself. NO frozen if I can help it.
This morning it's Eggs Benedict. The "dict" was a retired Wall Street Broker.(American)
The English muffin is "made in America." They never made it in England. It was supposedly an experiment by some mad scientist/ chef who says while he was preparing the mixture it talked to him in broken English so he tried to teach it Proper English.but failed to ever get it to talk again no matter how many drugs he tried. It was originally called a Broken English Muffin, but was changed to just English Muffin because No one wants to eat broken food!!
Canadian bacon,is an American name for bacon made from ham and has nothing to do with Canada
The eggs are from Chickens made in America
And Hollandaise sauce which is of a French origin has so many variations that the Hollandaise we make is actually American.
So everything that makes up Eggs Benedict is American.

The potatoes are American grown (in a garden of some sort, I suppose)
The garnish of slices of HoneyCrisp Apples are from New Zealand and the dark roast Espresso beans for my Cappuccino come from some other world country.
Thus an International Breakfast!!




Why am I not surprised that you missed the point, again.
I was pointing out that while it sounds like it's a foreign dish , it's all American.

And, I didn't plan to rant on it.. it just turned out that way.
(it happens sometimes!!)
