back from my shopping trip today! what a day

we had a nice time and a great supper by the lake....the Docksider. Beautiful Glen Lake and a cool breeze. Very peaceful!

was a welcomed conclusion to a hecktic day. WHile I was gone a 911 operator called me and said she had my brother on the phone

He had been driving in a funeral procession and got rammed from behind while driving his car. The man did not stop and continued on to the cemetery to finish the burial ceremony. My brother had a panic attack, couldn't breathe and called 911

while he was having the attack and an asthma attack at the same time, the operator got me on the phone. I was at least an hour away and had just gotten to the Lake.

I called a neighbor across the street from my parents and had her go over and tell them what had happened, and take my mom to the hospital to see my brother when he got there by ambulance.

Then the police called me to let me know it was a minor accident and he will be fine and he went to the ER and they drove his car to the police station.

i felt confident he was okay and i didn't need to leave, so we stayed and shopped.

what a day! all is well. He was kept for a few hours in the hospital because of his blood pressure. But then they let him go home and my husband gave him a ride by then. (Both my mom and dad can't drive right now cause my mom's wrist still isn't healed from the break and my dad had surgery on his arm 10 days ago.) Thank goodness my parents have some really nice neighbors we have known since i was a little girl. I can rely on them to help out when we need it.

i'm tired. Tomorrow is an off day. Hopefully i get to stay in and read or relax. But maybe i will be helping my brother retrieve his car....
