    I'm a fan of the heat. I don't know why. It just doesn't really bother me
    Me either... and I love the snow..just not too cold ...-1 to -8 c I'm good...anything below that and it's just no fun for snowboarding

    Ya we are actually fortunate that are mill rate is what it is. The mill rate is much higher in the city next to us.

    move somewhere where ac is built into all the houses and when you need it, it's always there. like my car. Hey! i could live in my car!
    I have central air in an 8 year old home but it's not guarenteed cool. My A/c has broken down a couple times in the last eight years. Once three years ago was furnace motor related and once last year which was related to the fan motor on the A/C unit

    There is no bubble. It is what it is and since 2007 everyone has been "cocooning" (see reference to JD sitting in the bedroom using her computer fan as a central A/C.


    So listings are low and we have 100,000 people coming into the GTA from international destinations and they are buying houses. It's supply and demand. List a place last week for 659,900.00 sold it Tuesday for 690,000 with four offers on the table

    Canada is still inexpensive with respect to housing when you compare it to other places around the world (excluding most the US which is in full recovery mode now.
