    I had high hopes that maybe this year, the new business that just opened in town would succeed, but it looks like they're already going under. I just went in today and they are practically out of stock and didn't look like they were going to restock. Most of the employees looked like they were ready to leave. Someone mentioned a close-out sale this weekend. This is probably the fifth year in a row that someone has tried to open in that building but went under after 2 months. I keep telling the guy he needs to expand his offerings, but he seems to think there's a solid market in a Halloween Store.

    At least he may recoup some losses by renting out the parking lot to that guy with the Christmas Tree lot, but he can never seem to sustain his business and will probably close by the end of the year.

    It's too bad some of the business professionals running roughshod on the forums couldn't divert their attention and expertise to make these businesses endure the slow times of the year.

    Hmmmm, seems George just sold LucasArts to Disney for just over 4 Billion. Star Wars Episode 7 will be out in 2015.

    They've ruined so much of the nostalgia of most of the classic Disneyland rides by defacing refacing them with modern Disney movies. Haunted mansion, Pirates, the treehouse. I can only imagine what they'll do now...
