I would love to be young again but smart this time...
One of those "if I knew then what I know now" moments?

Oh, how much more I would have enjoyed life...

I will be leaving early today and taking a nap to help with the hangover I'm nursing from playing the Political Debate Drinking Game... I wasn't prepared for that. Had to pause the debate half way thru and run to the corner store for more beer.

Anyways.... back on topic, I'll be pantless as soon as possible.

You are very lucky. Dec 2006 i was hit by a drunk driver in a near head on collision (he came across the double yellow and hit drivers side front tire). He shattered the front axle, flattened the tires, pushed the drivers door in 4-6 inches as he slid down the car and then implanted his car into the SUV behind me. All in all he totaled 4 cars (two a half mile up but he kept driving) and I received the worst injuries. Cracked two vertebrae in my lower back and herniated a disk in my neck.

B@st@rd was drinking a bottle of vodka while driving and only came away with a broken arm. Took me months to walk, and months more to walk fairly normally. Still get really bad pains in my back and neck and really should be going to PT.

    Damn glad you're (mostly) better.

Had a friend lose a leg in an alcohol and cocaine induced accident. I have no respect for drunk drivers.

Thank you. The problem is, it is so easy for drunk drivers to get away with it. VERY few ever go to jail from what I have been around, most get hit with moderate fines and that is it. There is an entire section of lawyers dedicated to this. To me, they are just as bad.

I think work is getting in the way and hindering our gang from posting to their potential.
If we could find a job that pays us to stay home, eat, play video games, drink, and screw around on the interwebz all day, we'd be at 50K already.

Agreed. I would lose my Nuc Med license and job if I ever got caught doing it and it's one of the biggest reasons I don't (of course not hurting others is up there too). I wish there were more people or professions that followed that mentality.

This clown is from the movie "The Groove Tube" which features pre-SNL Chevy Chase and others. This is a clip that probably never would be made today.

More proof of the 'I feel your pain' button. The irony is that it's usually the drunk person who walks away and the other who is really hurt.

And no I don't really pronounce it that way either . I've been to one of those big fireworks stores in Missouri. I-70 is littered with those, casinos, and Febreeze stores.
So when you're travelling down I-70, you know you're getting close when you can smell that fresh clean scent ahead?

Most of the time when you hear about a drunk driving-related fatality, the driver is usually a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th time offender!
