LOL! I don't use Microsoft Bob very often but when I do I call him Robert.

To be honest there are times when I miss my old Star-Tac. Well the flip form factor phones anyway. There was something final about closing them after a phone call and no(really the proper "but" is censored?) dialing.
I completely agree. Which is why I toyed around with the idea of getting one of these:

Ever set the airbags on a Lincoln because that's really close?
Actually, yes. All I can say is it's a good thing that companies used to let you expense complete comprehensive insurance on rental cars. A Lincoln Town Car (Premium member free upgrade) + The empty flat roads between Tampa and Orlando + sudden drastic rises across the roads for freight train tracks + happy hour = all sorts of airbag goodness!

    Are you using a Mac?

You need to run Windows: in a virtual environment on your Mac, in a Bootcamp partition on your Mac, or borrow a PC.
Thanks for the help! Just installed Bob on my 486DX2 and I'm good to go now.

And I like the new sig. It is unfortunate though that you even have it. I know where and from whom it came. An unfortunate and uncalled for turn of events.

The person who hit me was a teenage girl driving daddy's SUV. I got insurance money and got a Honda Civic as a replacement, which I like better than that Ford Escort anyway.

Well, it actually wasn't an...ummmm...accident. All I can say is that none of us had actually thought out the landing part of launching a Lincoln land yacht off a Florida railroad crossing rise doing about 85-90 mph. Ah, to be young and stupid again.

I was rear ended in 2009 and got pushed into/under an SUV. I got to catch a glimpse of the gas tank of a Ford Explorer.
My car folded like an accordion but the cabin was intact.

D@mmit Scionic, when I was about seven or eight I did that very thing with a BB gun. Granted I still have my finger and I didn't do it on purpose but it hurt like H3ll. Didn't go over very well with the old man either, I think he was actually kinda p1ssed.

And before you even go a step further, YES you have to throw the firecracker NOW it wont wait for you.

It's a frigging miracle I am even alive.
IMO, it was those non-lethal learning experiences that kept us alive. We learned with the little firecrackers, so by the time we got to some real explosives, we knew to be more careful. Same with BB guns. Kids these days are "protected" and they don't learn those important life lessons. When we visited our grandparents in Missouri (pronounced Misery), we stopped at the Fireworks store, not the temp booths we see here. Anything that could fit a firecracker got one lit off in it. Plus we had bottle rockets, roman candles and all sorts of flaming projectiles. Good times...

Even though the good stuff is illegal here in CA, I try to get the kids some exposure now and then. Most of the time it is just the safe and sane stuff, which is also illegal here in our county.
