I discourage anyone who uses a negative reason for not making progress. "Being to hell and back 4 times? " Lessons learned are like Bridges burned. You only need to cross them but once.......
I discourage the use of words like: CAN'T.

And I caucon people from suggesting that simply because THEY have a problem, everyone must have a problem.
If EVERYONE you meet is fighting a hard battle then you're hanging out with the wrong crowd!

I, for one, have no battle to fight. I do know people in situations that need improvement but fighting it can only make it worse and turning it into a battle is a sure way to lose!
Just because Ian Maclaren and Plato say it doesn't make it so.

Simply saying "Be kind to one another" should be enough!
adding a "because" gives people a reason NOT to be kind!
