You can access your medical records ANY Time you want. They ARE your records!!!
You DOn't wait for the doctor to "Send" it, then. You go straight to the source, fill out the release form and wait right there for it.
If they stall you, you just tell them, you have to have it today... and it's none of their business why.
You can be polite, but remember, YOU don't work for them and you have every right to your records.
Ask to talk to the "office Manager" if need be!!
