If you read the manual to your fridge, it suggests that if you're going away you might consider unplugging it but nowhere does it say anything about having to empty the unit.

and that could potentially throw off the entire Time Zone Continuum thingy and Jaydee having gotten active "fixing" things

I have to agree. Throw an alien in the mix and then total chaos happens as the space time thingy gets thrown even more out of whack.
