Sounds like you've really been through the mill with your apartment, and I hope now that they found the source of the leak, they can plug it and things will calm down. Definitely bring in a licensed inspector if you buy a house. It will be worth it down the road not to have any unpleasant surprises. Carjackd knows.

No, the detergents themselves. I'm senitive to the chemicals or enzymes or whatever is in them. I have to wear rubber gloves to wash dishes or do laundry, or use household cleaners, etc. Otherwise I break out in hives.

I'm used to it, and it's easier to avoid things I can't touch than things I can't eat (used to have food allergies as a kid but no longer seem to), so it's ok.

broought my brother home from the hospital. so even tho i couldn't go when he was having the surgery, i was able to help.

I have a lot of allergies too, including bees, wasps, detergents, penicillin, and some other drugs. Thankfully I lost my food allergies at puberty. I don't know what I'd do if I were allergic to coffee ☕ - I would need an emergency rehab program, stat!
