So I'm moving to Edmonton in May to be with my fiance. I'm looking into getting a virtual Edmonton number after Christmas so that he can call me without logging up huge long distance bills, and so I can put it on my resume so that employers won't discriminate when I apply for jobs before I'm actually there.
When I moved to Toronto I used tollfreeforwarding.com but it didn't work the way I wanted it to and it was kind of expensive...lately I've been looking a Jupee- which seems to offer the same thing but without the complicated set up and for a more reasonable price.
So I was wondering- what do you guys use for call forwarding/virtual numbers? Any recommendations? I can't have a contract because once I move I'll likely cancel the account since my cell number will be switched to a local number.
