Boom Boom
Anyone into stupid bass? If so, let us know what you've got in the trunk of your cars. If you need advice on audio equipment, feel free to ask! Apart from my job, installing stereo systems is my favorite thing to do!
Right now, in my truck, I have two 12" Eclipse 1000 watt subs, four Eclipse 6x9's, two Eclipse 6x5's, Eclipse head unit, 2400 watt Power Acoustik amp, another 600 watt Power Acoustik amp, Power Acoustik equalizer, 5.0 Farad Power Acoustik power cap. Can you tell I favor two brands in Eclipse and Power Acoustik?

Good deal, skullgame.
I, too, enjoy stereos - installations included. For the most part though, I'm in it for SQ (Sound Quality) over SPL (Sound Pressure Level). (A little acronym help for anyone who doesn't know) ;)
I did have a few SPL setups in the past ... One being a booted S10 pickup with a couple Solo-Baric L7 12s - with two Planet Audio VX1400D amps. But, now I have...
Truck: Pioneer deck (480MP), Infinity plate/components, PlanetAudio 12", American Bass 800w amp for the lows, Alpine 4ch 600w for the highs
Car: Pioneer deck (p80MP), Infinity/Kicker components, 2x Infinity Perfect 12", Audiobahn 2200w for the lows, Power Accoustik 600w for the highs
Bike: Blackberry Storm Smartphone, Motorola S9-HD headset (;):D)

Love the bike setup! Doesn't get any better than that! :D
I too do most of my installs for quality (ie my Avalanche has a quality setup), but for the most part, people around here just like being heard from a few blocks away. So they go for SPL, as I did with my Suburban.
