*Why can't these devs do more to ensure that everyone gets a copy in these promotions. Or at least email me a heads up, because that's what this is really about - "I" didn't get one! Crackberry should really crack down on these fraudulent promotions, as it's impossible for so many copies to be snatched up so quickly!! Are you telling me a site approaching 32 million readers monthly, can give away 2000 copies in 20-40 minutes?? That's BS! BS and poppycock! BS poppycock is what it is!!! If these Devs had any integrity, they'd offer the copies for *a specific period rather than offering a specific number of copies!!! All of them - not just the Disneys of the world! Today, About 2400 copies were snatched up in less than an hour @ $3 a pop - that's only $7200 in lost revenue for the Dev . Why can't he offer unlimited copies for 24 hours??? Extrapolating, he'd only be giving up an additional $165,600 in revenue?????!! WTF!!! The bottom line is, CB needs to do something to improve my chances of success with these promotions. Obviously those that succeed have no lives, and do nothing but refresh their browser every 5 minutes. Disregard the fact that that I do the same, but I'm only able to refresh every 10 minutes. More needs to be done for me, before I can see any value or purpose to these promotions. Also, why don't the article authors give more detail in the headline, so I don't have to read details in the article. In fact just put the redeem codes in the title to save me some precious scrolling time!!!! No need for the article.

What you guys don't know is that CB is sometimes late on these promotions. They're not always the first one to report it.

So by the time you get to redeem the codes within 5-10 mins of the article being posted, 25 - 40% of it is already gone.

What you need to do is follow their channel(if they have one), check their twitter or other BlackBerry related websites for promotions.

I redeemed the Cached Youtube app before CB posted the article about the promotion. I thought I was a God.

Today was the first time any of the 4 people in my circle got an app. And we all got it. Upwards to 1.5 hrs after posting was the last one down loaded

I get op's theory but I just give it to chance and you also have to remember some people have multiple devices in households I have 3 in my household and I'm the only CB reader

Among all these Promo's only CacheTube is the one I caught.

Maybe I have to keep my eyes on the CB app all the time and mash (or keep "pulling" the screen) the refresh button XD

I know a couple of the devs that had promos on CB, I can guarantee they are legitimate. The reason they even do these promotions is to market their app. Also keep in mind that most of these devs don't make enough from their apps to quit their day jobs. You should respect what they do. If you missed a few promotions, I'm sorry. You can create the app just as easily as they can.

I got a high successful rate of getting most of the free apps. It's all about timing. If you can get it within the first 15 minutes of post, the chances are high you will get them. However, if the dev is going to give away only 100 or so free app, you have to be super fast. Anytime if it's in the 1000 or more give away, within the first half hour you should stand a pretty good chance.
