I've had a BB for like 6 years now (of course I've switched models almost every year, once I had two different models in the same year), anyway I still have pretty much the same hours of sleep because I know it's always there with me.

Before :: probably 6-8 hrs average
After :: about the same. Some days 5-6. This morning I couldn't sleep at all, was on BB, turn it off then try to sleep, then repeat. It was 0700 before I dozed off and woke up at about 1330 to go out and buy Mario Kart Wii.

I hardly ever sleep anyway, (3-4 hrs per day), so my BB hasn't really had any effect on that.
Most of my waking hours however, you'll find I have my BlackPearl in hand...eyes glued to the screen...a bit of drool at the corner of my mouth...

I find myself picking it up in the middle of the night if I can't sleep. 15-20 minutes playing and my eyes get pretty heavy again!

I get these periods of insomnia and I am constantly on my blackberry passing those wee hours. I do find though, if I get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom the BB comes with me.

Pretty much sleep the same after getting a BB, other than the first weekend that I was off when I bought it. My head hits the pillow and I'm dead to the world for the same 4 to 6 hours as normal for work days, and off days depends on what I have planned.

No difference in the amount of sleep. But the last thing I do before going to bed is checking my BB, and the first thing I do when getting up, is checking my BB.
