Ok so I bought the used PB off Kijji today. Guy shows up and he has the back cover mostly detached from the device. Had been using a Samsung phone charger to charge it in the past and had the pieces in a ziplock freezer bag. I thought what the hell, i'll still buy if for $25.00 as it would give me the spare parts should something happen to my other units. Hopefully I can get this thing to charge when I get home and bring it back to life. That would make it an even better purchase.

Perhaps if we all hold hands and think happy thoughts while depleting SOM's cellar while he is away, the good voltage vibes will find their way to this playbook and let it live another day. Then when BB10 arrives it will be worth a bloodly fortune

well they seem to have killed this playbook. no lights no power

pulled the connector on the battery and tried a bit o stack charging with usb charger but nothing yet. going to leave it on the rapid charger overnight.

My playbook is still under warranty bought it in Dec 2012 New From Rogers.

It's the Wifi Model = 4G version.

I hardly use it since A I have my z10 and B BlackBerry lied about OS 10 coming to the playbook.

I already said it and I will say it again, I will never buy BlackBerry again.
