My friend I would think that (far be it for me to second guess what is in the mind of the op when he posted that) but I'll take a stab at it. The op's believed that of course blackberry will upgrade playbook to bb10,because they said they would. Why wouldn't he believe that.....even I believed that....and I believe very little. But it became quite apparent that it was all bs. All the subsequent nonsense followed.....what did you want ...a meaningful discourse on the lack of honesty within bbry? I suggest you read another thread if this one doesn't suit your needs. I asure you we feel your pain. However we have moved on........perhaps u should too....or join us in our self flagulation.

hey, let me apoligize on behalf of some of the folks here, they can get a tad unruly at times to say the least.
and I'm in complete agreement with your line of thinking I am also hopeful to see a update to the existing playbook os be it 2.2,2.5 or 3.0. I always try to look at the glass as half full as opposed to half empty regardless of actual circumstances. It is this mantra that enables me to let crap roll off my back and not bother me.

i own 4 playbooks 3 64 gb and 1 32 gb, 3 more donated by the community. which makes it 7. you beat me by one, sailor.
i have 0 z10. but i am getting gumstix and omap5 dev boards. :-D which i wonder how many of you here got! okay i win. ;-)
i got issues with RIM day one i touched a blackberry phone. playbook? i fell in love with it when i saw it and read the specs.
rim will never address issues. so forget it.
count on one thing. i will never complain to a mod about some comment about me. i know how to deal with it. besides what do i do in a place where are no mods to save my tiny little @ss?
then what, wage a war if situation demands, be the person in the same team as i am.
situation calls for war and even peace needs a war.
so fight for your right, if you think you are right and you can justify yourself.
having said that. i will just watch the fight which goes here. its better than some RIM employee discouraging me in rooting forum disguised as a new user. ;-)
let it continue here. even tho i am not a mod and never wish to be a mod. but i am a control freak, i am territorial, predatorial and carnivorous by nature and mostly soft unless pokes with a knife real hard, then i bite back equally hard w/o mercy.

i plan to use one device as my opensource PBX which fits in the laptop bag, along with pbx, i wish to run a vpn, mail server.
i am terrible in designing website.

thats all my website had, so? no webserver on my playbook. i rather ask my friend to design it for me.

my playbook plans XYZ gb is like this.
#1. 64 gb, IDS/IPS/Wifi AP/Wifi Bridge + nstx (so i can piggybank in airports and other shopping mall, where no free hotspots), ipv6 ghost router, firewall!
#2. 64 gb, email server, voip aka pbx server, vpn server
#3. 64 gb (new) havent thought about it, but it runs debian 100% sure.
#3. i will use it as a debian fai server aka fully automated installation server and manage the clusters i manager and admin them in a finger snap.
#4. 32 gb, i use it for browsing while i am on the move and save my x60 battery.
device #1,#2,#3 and x60 in laptop bag and #4. in hand!

i can pull out the cpu and reprogram it. but that will be very selfish. it will not help the community. i am trying to help the community by finding a method which helps others. pulling the cpu and reprogramming is the easiest bit. but how many here would do such? ;-) secondly? i thought of keeping my mouth shut. but i am disclosing. i am trying to reverse engineer the PCB or the mother board. it will help many users fix many issues in the future.
so coming back to question again. for myself? yes done. for others like you and many more who are desperate to breathe free? nope. i am trying. i can escape the prison well. but others cant. so i am digging a hole. seen the movie great escape, i feel like i am the cooler king or danny, who is trying to dig a tunnel and break free as many POW as possible. :-D
