yeah, ive done it before and i'll do it again if i have too! Yeah the prices can get a bit of a joke, one of the reasons I never bid, only 'Buy It Now'. I dont, no, however I have been planning on it its a great stretch of track!

Speak of the devil, iv got the phone! In very good condition aswell - however, some good news and some bad news. It didnt turn on with the current battery in it, so i put in the new one i bought and Voila, turns on - however, the usb cable to pc and usb to plug socket charger and connection cables have no effect - would you guys assume that little mini usb port is knackered on the BB ? if so - what should i do next ?

I am no techno wizz but the usb port may be shot, I don't know if it can be replaced or not. If not you are gonna have trouble even charging the bb & will be confined to over the air downloads but there are lots of them. Main problem would be operating system upgrades.

Adlen will know more about things like this than I do

You can however buy a little unit for charging the battery on its own rather than via the BB. I think I saw some on Amazon.

Why not post a thread on the forum as someone may have a solution.

There are also charging pods that charge via the gold pins on the back of the pearl.

Would you be happy to do this ryzo until your contract runs out & then you could get a brand new bb? (if you can't fix the port)

Orange has just brought out a great new bb tariff - similar to o2 but not as good as t mobile.

hello all ideally id like two phones, and use the BB as a work phone, so id like it to be fully functional if poss - i still have those links Adlen, if i did get one of those USB ports i wouldnt no how to fit it when it comes to those kinda things i have little patience and end up making a dogs dinner of things.

also the alternate charging method sounds good, didnt realise those 2 gold bits on the back wer able to charge the phone - but again, ideally id like to be able to use the usb for transfers etc (makes things alot easier for me) but thats a great idea though

Should be. Just disconnect the screen, keyboard, etc., etc. and re-connect them on the new one.
