Take into account the effects your name choice is going to have on your kids life. Lucky for me no one in school ever put together that my first two initials are BJ.

100% agree. you have to take all things into account. especially for a boy. you want something strong.. keep in mind initials.. nothing too "old" sounding. thats why i stand by my choice.. kevin

Those that listen to Johnny Cash will get it.

Seriously, when I thought I was having a little boy (turned out to be a girl) I had picked out...

    Remington
    Gage (Gauge)
    Bower
    Dane
    Winchester
    Dakota

And yes. We do hunt. LOL!

I'm partial to traditional names for both boys and girls.
    Paul
    Stephen
    Michael
    David
    Charles
    James
    Kenneth (personal bias )
names you can grow old with. I have a hard time imagining a
    90 year old named Du'quan

Hey amusick-how about something having to do with your nationality,or a grand dads name? Perhaps? Yea I like all the 'andies' u did-cute! My hub & I did all middle names begin with 'M' - till our 5th one-he was names aft our very first nephew born. So we have JMR-GMR-NMR-PMR & JGR! Congrats btw for your new little boy!!! If I had to choose a boy name again- these are a few I really like- Levi, Demetrius, Damien, Tyler, Julian, Keaneu(as in Reeves the actor). I know some of you will be crossing yours eyes at some of the names-but I like to be different-altho my kids names are all 'common' my hub is to blame for that one!!!!!LOL
But congrats-great news for a happy healthy bouncin baby boy!!!

Above are names of musicians (vocalists) that I listen to from the early 90s till today. I thought they rock big time and your son I bet will be the rock of your life. So do consider the names
