    Hi everyone.

I'm usually a lurker on the forums because I find the vitriol and poor grammar to be a bit intimidating to then want to get into discussions.

There's a lot of "sky is falling" frenzy since last week's announcements, and it seems like cooler heads are harder and harder to find on the site these days.

That's inspired me to make a little icon/avatar for people who, like myself, love their Blackberries but don't have the time, energy, or fortitude to duke it out with strangers via their keyboards.

While I always remember that it's just a phone, I do love owning and using a Blackberry and will quietly (and sensibly) root for RIM's future success.

For anyone else that feels the same (or just likes to have a bunch of avatars), you can get it here: http://i.imgur.com/dVcK2.jpg or find it attached to this post.

LOL sorry that was in response to Pete .

ETA: And I didn't mean the variations of your BB sentiment were common, just variations of the saying. Like this:

Anyone know where this meme started? I've seen shirts, stickers, dog toys and food with variations of this on it.

Even though I am ancient, this was before even my time.

As usual Wikipedia came to my rescue. It was in the UK in 1939 and was put out by the government to raise morals, err, sorry, morale at the start of the 2nd World War.

This was the original text but I have now seen so many variants of this meme that I now have no idea what it should look like.

Anyone who watches TopGear or any BBC station will know what this means and where it came from.

I agree that level heads and proper grammar are a bit rare these days. We are here though, we just refuse to participate in the idiocy and instead stick to helping people who actually need it rather than adding fuel to the flames of stupidity.
