Great collection here my current daily driver is a 2015 Challenger Scat Pack. Driver pack, sound pack and leather pack.

    6.4L Hemi (392 for you old farts ) ~485hp, 475ft-lbs
    4 piston brembos all around

Stiffer suspension than the R/T but not the adjustable of the SRT probably the only other thing I really wish I had on the car.

Before you ask, yes it's heavy af. But it's surprisingly nimble throughout, very little body roll. The steering tightens up substantially in sports mode as well.

For those that care my best straight line times (all street, fingers crossed Hilo drag strip will be reopening later this year)
    0-60: 4.1s
    0-100: 9.9s
1/8mi: don't remember will update if I remember to check it lol
    1/4mi: 12.5s

All times are based on the onboard computer, but supposedly they're fairly accurate.

Edit: almost forgot the most important part, 6 speed manual

I'll post some pics when I get home

    Oh yeah I also have a 2001 F-150 V8

Pontiac Solstice, been my DD for over 5 years, few months ago got a 328i to takeover winter DD duty.

    Both are manual and RWD.

Base. Didn't want to deal with turbos back then and ironically my new DD is a turbo.

You should have gotten the GXP and iDrive. Can't tell you how awesome the X-Type is in the winter!

As someone from Canada who has been driving RWD, manual and no traction/stability control for several years. I respectfully disagree. I can handle myself in the snow with no assists, thank you very much.

Mine is strictly utilitarian, 2013 GMC 4x4 half-ton, because I have to pull a travel trailer. SO much fun when we have a big snow storm, nothing better that a 4x4 truck with snow tires and attitude!

My brother, on the other hand is the family gearhead. He's got a 1971 Nova SS (genuine SS) with 4 speed. The original engine is gone, the car came with a 396. So, he got a 454 and was going to put the 396 crank in it to get a 427.
His engine builder dude talked him into going the other way: he's now got the 454 crank in the 396 block to build a stroker 436. With street fuel injection they are talking approx 550 hp and a MOUNTAIN of torque.

Gonna be a FUN ride, at least in a straight line. None of this sophisticated, refined goodness that we've seen so far. This thing is going to be TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE style!

For those who want some sophistication, he's got a '98 Pontiac G8: 6.0 l aluminum v8 with 365 hp stock. He's added cold air intake, exhaust and re-chipped for about 400 hp. If you punch it at 140 kmh it PUSHES you back in the seat. I've been in it at 250 kmh and you can hardly tell the speed, it's that solid and stable.

    Fun, fun, fun!

LoL! Not questioning your abilities at all. Even the best of drivers can make use of AWD in the snow. Lord knows Ken Block does.

Totally dig the Nova and Goat, and nothing wrong with a practical DD. The Prius is anything but an enthusiasts car, though people are amazed at what it can do.

Unfortunately I don't have the room (or the budget) for much of a stable beyond the functional daily drivers (though the wish list is quite lengthy if I did). So I have to make do with my little scooter.

    My little 1832cc 6-cylinder scooter.

I Have a never ending project 1986 Lincoln Mark VII LSC i did a 351W swap on years ago. I just cant seem to get the money or time to finish it but it is sentimental so I just keep promising myself to finish it.

Auto Enthusiasts: What's in your stable?-img_00000193.jpg

I also have a 2WD 2001 F250 Diesel I use for hauling firewood, compost or whatever else I need. Originally purchased to haul a 21ft 84 4winns Santara I was rebuilding. Purchasing a home killed that project and i scrapped the entire thing sadly.

Also sold my 2008 Harley Nightster which was my first road bike. That was another home purchase sacrifice, and well worth it. Might be replacing it down the road with a Indian Scout or maybe even Chief...

This is a awesome thread guys! My first car was a 1987 Supra Turbo which I purchased in 2001 after I got my license. It had a downpipe ( straightpipe) and K&N Cold Air Intake System. The only picture I can find is after my neighbor back into it.

Auto Enthusiasts: What's in your stable?-img_20170308_233001.jpg

Other than that I live in a large city in Germany now (from TX)where I can get to work quicker with the Subway then I can find parking. so I just rent cars now every few months to hit up the Autobahn on a road trip. So of the car I've rented the past years : Mercedes C and E, Audi A4, Jaguar XE and XJ, Volvo S60 D5, BMW 3 and 4 Cabrio and my Childhood dream a Porsche911 ( 991 S)

Auto Enthusiasts: What's in your stable?-img_20170308_233034_edit.jpg

It's dirt cheap to rent nice cars here so I probably won't buy another car anytime soon, just rent to save myself all the troubles of owning and driving the newest models isn't bad either.

    Good tires, though, right?

Down here when it snows we find a lot of xDrive and 4Matics in ditches with their 20" summer tires.

Thread just keeps getting better and better!

Always dreamed of a Mark IV build to replace my once beloved Charger. Black on black of course, 460 Boss and tunneled rear.

    Nice scooter, snoozybear!

Conti makes some really awesome shoes. I run the ExtremeContact DWS 06 on the Jag. Not the best summer tire, but you throw any weather at them, and they really shine.

    New MR2?!?

PS - Forgot to mention the Supra *drools*
