Did anybody watch how quickly Apple stock fell from a high of $643 down to $576 on Monday April 16th. $67 in about a week. At least it took RIM a few years to loose that much. I've been saying for a while the ride down from Apples crazy stock price is gonna be fast. This last slide is a good example of how fast it will drop. Get out while you can! It can't last.

I see a drop, but nothing like the one you described. However, the 30 day trend has been crossed.

Apparently at least one person did.

As of this moment it's back up to $617, so I don't think anyone's listening.

LOL so lets see, if you take this into account Apple lost 1/15th of its value in a few days. That being said I believe its still the most valuable company in the world. Plus they are giving back tens of billions of dollars to investors. Yep they are in trouble...

Saw that; trying to decide whether or not to sell now, or just hang on.

But the stock is going down so they must be in trouble. Right? It has lost more money per share than RIM was ever worth. There has got to be some very unhappy people out there!

Earnings call is next week, so its all over the place until then. They have any misses with there call and the going predication is that stock will suffer. Again the doom sayers are hanging on to a bubble. Doom makes good hit counts.

I'm under the impression that you don't even understand as to why it fell. If you did, you'd realize how silly this is.

Well. That's my point. It is quite silly. But I still believe investors will loose their investments very quickly whenever Apple stock starts tanking for what ever reason. And that day will come.

I'd agree that AAPL's growth is unsustainable, but you have to realize something about stocks... it's more about perceived value than actual (book (ok, book value isn't actual value either, but it's the accepted standard)) value. So as long as the general public views AAPL as a leader, the stock value is not in any danger.
