In reality it's iOS 7 and it's supposed to compete with Windows Phone 8. It even apparently rips off the plain interface.

I don't know about "ripping off" the UI, but from the rumors, it definitely seems like Apple is taking design cues from Windows and BlackBerry 10.

I don't think WP8 moves enough units for anyone to bother "competing" with it. It was one thing when WP7 came out of the gate slowly, but nearly three years in the momentum hasn't changed.

How is that possible when blackberry copied from Apple (from a home ui pov)?

If you mean a grid of icons, the BlackBerry 8700 (and prior models) featured the same thing in 2006, one year before the first iPhone was released.

Anyway, I'm not saying Apple is copying anything here as the UI revisions that are speculated aren't as prevalent in BlackBerry 10 as, say, Windows Phone, but things like the Settings menu in BlackBerry 10 is the design styling I'm alluding to.

Actually, apple may be switching their name to r.i.m. And claim that the BlackBerry logo actually belonged to rim so then they steal that icon

The device looks outdated, ad it would be from 2006 or something. But when iPhone would introduce a phone named iPhone10, it would definitely steal away some power of BB10. Not because it would be a quality product, but mainly because of the popularity of Apple. If Apple ever decides to make a qwerty phone and names it iPhone10, I hope BlackBerry will sue them.
