Best thing, start small. Get a tin of Macanudo or Partagas.
Don't go whole hog and try a Corona, Robusto, Lonsdale and such.
Don't go for the Maduro (almost black). Stick with Connecticut
Shade wrappers (gotta rep my state, light to dark brown). And most definitely, have
a glass of anything red.
I slightly disagree. Most of the 'cigarillos' in tins arnt worth a crap. But if you want a small cigar, go for the Tatuaje brand.
Also just because the wrap is Maduro, it does not mean the cigar is straong. Actually I have found quite the opposite, where some of the stronger smokes I have had were all Connecticut shade wraps.
If you want a good starter cigar, I suggest a Rocky Patel -The Edge- Lite
It is a very light cigar and an easy smoke.

I get what you are saying. Can't be disagreeing with a brother FF
I recommended Macanudo and Partagas becuse they are much better than most.
The Maduro thing wasn't because it is strong, just different. Somewhat off-putting to new smokers, I've found.
And Msmari if you want to go full bore Ross's suggestion is a good one. Also H.Upmann Petite corona, is a good starter

The maduro thing is kind of odd for new smokers because some cigar makers are dying the wrapperd to get the 'dark' look instead of the natural ageing. That can give it a funky flavor.
I actually had an idea, she should try an Acid cigar. They make the flavored cigars and I think the vanilla flavor might be good for her as a starter.
But for a small starter cigarillo I highly recomend Tatuaje. Problem is you might not be able to get it since they are thot hot thing right now.

Good call on the Acid. Another idea is Baccarat. Not flavored but has a sweetened cap.
Ok guys and girls... I want to smoke a cigar, its been a minute since i wanted to try one. Can anybody help select some goods ones to try? I just want to be relaxed and enjoy a nice glass of wine with it..
Once you find the cigar you want...try this to help you get started and close your eyes and RELAX--AHHHHHH!!!!!!
Lighting the cigar a slow, two-step so that you can ensure that one side of the cigar will not burn faster than the other side. Step one: Hold the cigar horizontally and rotate it in the flame to evenly warm the end. Step two: Put the cigar in your mouth, hold the flame only to the tip of the cigar, and draw slowly as you continue to rotate. Now you may enjoy
Count me in. I've been a cigar freak since 1991. My partner at a radio station in Pittsburgh had a baby and her hubby brought in a fistful of Punch churchills and I've been hooked ever since.
I love just about anything Rocky Patel creates, and of course Avos, and I like the flavor of La Flor Dominicana. Oh, hey, I could go on and on. (and I am).
Feel free to PIN me, anyone, to chat about stogies. I'm usually available.
Don't want to break etiquette, but if anyone doesn't happen to know about an all-bid cigar website that's like eBay for cigar fanatics, drop me a note for the addy.

Is THAT soo...Hmmmm thoughts to pondar Mr. Eggman. hahahaha I enjoyed a nice "nub" in the hot tublast night. OMG --that didn't sound right but to cigar smokers you know what I mean.
Just the sweet spot.... ultra-thick cigar made by Oliva Cigar Habano Nub is no longer than 4 inches long and forms a dense ash as it burns, keeping it cool and maintaining its flavors. ahhhh ---yes I can go on and on
Yes, in fact I have two left.......been saving these last two forever (they made them what like 12 or 15 yrs ago?)..........Cigars + BB's + Irish car bombs = a great time.......
I have been an avid smoker/collector for almost 20 yrs now.........cigars are truely a wonderful out of body experience...........
Hmmm......we need an actual cigar forum you know? THAT would be finer than Frog Hair...
