They can't. Someone who has the app installed on their device, and who has a computer with BBSAK, has to backup the app and then post the backup files (.jad and .cod) online.

I wrote to the Jared Company to let them know, but I suspect that they've pulled the app from the store on purpose (for legal or workload reasons).

I used it 2 days ago and it was fine, but will check again.

I suspect that people who have the app installed can see it in the store, and that it doesn't appear for those who don't already have it installed. That's the way it's worked with other apps as they were withdrawn from the store in the past.

I'm on the beta channel on 2.16.88. I haven't been prompted to update yet. When I go to BlackBerry World it says that Whatsapp is uninstalled, so I'll wait to update through the beta channel. I'm too lazy to uninstall and reinstall. :P

I was at Best Buy on the weekend and had a chance to play around with the Pixel. To my great surprise, there's a dock row of icons at the bottom of the screen, and the app drawer slides up from beneath the dock.

Just. Like. OS7.

If there's ever another Chinese Android BlackBerry knockoff, that Pixel launcher would be a nice addition.

Hard to tell from that pic. There were many Motorola, Samsung, Nokia, and HTC candybar qwerties between 2008 and 2010.

Given the style of the top and the fairly straight (not too smiley) keyboard, I'd guess that it's a Samsung, but couldn't find a precise match. It has 2008 chunkiness though!

So which phone is it? :P

The movie was The Gunman with Sean Penn 2015. But what we noticed was that they used three different phones for the one scene which I can't understand why they would do. In this photo you can't see any namebrand, but in the second part of the scene they used clearly what said Samung on it and for the third part of the same scene the phone had a shiny silver backing. So that was a very odd scene but I picked up on it.

This one almost looks like a dummy prop phone because there's absolutely no name on the front and it's very thick I've never seen one that thick even back then

Yes but it would have taken longer to get the update, you can upgrade in the app world and it will then ask you if you want to replace the current one and then the phone will reboot which isn't a bad thing haha. I did the update to make sure that they were going to let me use whatsapp after december.

Man I had typos in that post! Stupid iphone. I had to edit some stuff. "I have no idea why they would use 3 different phones for that movie scene" is what I meant to say.

Haha funny story, today my buddy who also has an iphone messaged me and what he said made NO sense! It was total jibberish. He said he has had it with his iphone and I suggested turning OFF the auto correct and see what happens.

Had both the Moto Razr and Razr 2 and never knew Moto made a BB type device like that. Anyway the body of the Q9H does look the same as the movie phone BUT look at that Trackpad Nav center control. the Q9H is rounded and the movie device is square. That's the only difference I can see.

I really wish they wouldn't give a deadline for getting back on Whatsapp to avoid losing it for another 6 months!

To make matters worse now a close friend joined Snapchat and I have to be around in there to teach her how to use it. I tell ya I am getting sucked in deeper and deeper to the Apple eco system and someone better pull me out lol
