The 9900 is basically the original and what they are trying to get back to with the Mercury. First it was the Classic and now this.

Who knows what will happen but no regrets....

Biggest challenge seems to be initializing opera mini. It is hanged at Font Datw Calculation forever and ever

Glad to see you got Opera Mini working ! ( This is the browser I try to use instead of native )

Yes UC browser works but without the touchscreen option. ( I only use when the other 2 fail )

I never deleted mine from App World, I'll have to test it snd see what happens.

I spray some silicone lubricant onto a q-tip and then dab a little around the trackpad and that solves the problem. On my old keyboard I had a lot of creaking and silicone solved it. Silicone is a lubricant that is supposedly safe for electronics and ruubber but I would NEVER spray directly, just put a very small amount around the edges of the Trackpad with a q-tip as described above.

How's it sticking? Is it not clicking? They're fairly easy to replace.

Yup my Client for Instagram is working great, just uploaded a pic with the 9900 and checked to see if it was there, complete with tags.

By the way my cousin said I should be ashamed of myself for letting you all down and using my iPhone now especially considering how big this thread is LOL, but I will be going back to the BlackBerry soon because I want to save whatsapp.

Also I prefer being able to email about 20 photos at a time and at Christmas this will come in handy. On the iPhone you can only email five at a time and it just takes forever when you take 150 photos.

Someone needs to post OTA. Have had the same issue for a while cannot download the file from BlackBerry world and when I click link from forum says not available for this device.

I did not know that apps from BB App World were available from other sources other than App World.

With the exception of apps like Whatsapp or Twitter/Facebook, etc.

They're only available if someone posts them. There used to be a lot of OTA sites, but most stopped adding apps years ago.

I noticed "The Jared Company" (creator of Client for Instagram) and 9 other apps in BB App World, I wonder if he has a website where you can get his stuff OTA?
