In fact, I used to always type something though I don't have any need

I used to be very active on twitter coz I wanted to always type something on bb7

I used to participate in trends and I used to send one tweet within 10 seconds

I used to write very big office emails in the nights with no effort

And I used to be very active in facebook those days

And I forgot mention, facebook messenger app

That is beauty, awesome app. Never found such an app on bb10

And I like bbw app on bb7 very much. We got only 50% of that functionality in bb10

I could search for any app which I paid but uninstalled. I could apply many filters unlike bb10

Brother, if u don't mind can you check how much time a page is loading on bb7 and bb10 and let us know result

Pls try any mobile site and desktop site

Currently I don't have 9790 also. So I cannot test. If the difference is not much, I will place an order for 9900 today

After seeing ur video, I feel I'm missing 9790. That is beautiful phone. I can type with rocket speed. You need not fully touch keys. Just put ur finger on the keys and it does its job. I like maps, twitter, Fb, excellent camera, music player, video recorder, notes, opera mini, cb and many

I like ucweb on bb7, with 2g network u will get 5g speeds, yes it is true. I never experienced that on any phone. OMG. I used to be on ucweb whole day.

    Badly missing bb7

Only problem if I click a photo with flash, it will reboot

Sorry I don't have a BB10 device but here this might be a better video to show the 9900 speed for general use and things like the CrackBerry app. I made this video two weeks ago.

It's easy, but it may cause other apps to stop functioning properly.

I had a couple of issues after making this change, but I can't remember what they were.
I turned my Encryption strength to STRONG ONLY and I don't notice any slowdowns or anything (like I read some months ago).

I guess as long as friends can still see me on their Caller ID that I call them it's all good

No but on my 9900 if I attempted to scroll too fast I would get checkerboarding. The size of the font on the 9900 browser can be made better than the iPhone. My Android has the best browser by a large margin over all others IMO .

Sure did, I think the new update with 10.1 has stabilized enough where it's really fast no lag etc. I basically waited for 10.1.1 updated the phone, then wiped it clean again then reinstalled all my apps with iCloud. So I'll use this for a little while with the Sim card and I can still use the 9900 on just Wi-Fi for many things like Twitter Facebook Crackberry, general Google searching etc.

It will be interesting to see the next time I put the Sim card into the 9900 because the last time I had to phone in the service books, doing it myself with host routing table didn't work the last time. But this was something I've never had to do anyway since I got the phone last Christmas.

The 9900 is perfect for someone who doesn't want a smartphone, but still wants a decent email and web browsing experience. With BIS, you only need a few hundred megabytes on your service plan, which will make your monthly bill cheap as hell. It's a really good phone for older people who struggle with touchscreens, too.

Tracfone and all its subsidiaries do not support BIS.

I have only seen an elderly person use a BBOS device once. This whole elderly wants a PKB device notion is a bit of a myth.

Well....technically the 9900 is called a "smartphone" and even my 9780 said that right on the box. But I suppose comparing them to something like say....an iPhone 7, they are just a little more "stupid"

You are dead on about the data. My iPhone is a hog on data.

I don't use it sorry, I tried FB Messenger app for the 9900 in January and I had too many issues so now when I am on the 9900 I just use the FB app or the desktop FB version and go to the "messages."

    Why? What's APPening?

Oh I'm just wondering if the Messenger app on my 9930 isn't working because support has ended for it or because it requires BIS (I don't have it hooked up to mobile service right now).

Ah ok. My battery is the usual 6-8 hours on mine. I read that 10.1.1 was supposed to fix the health tracker, or something? Mine never worked on the 5C but my friend's does on his 6. Like it tells him how many steps or distance he walks everyday and I tried to get mine working, no luck. But after 10.1.1 I noticed that it does track how long I sleep now haha, but that's all.

My 5C is super fast again.

I can't wait to see if it will finally beat my 9900 in web page loading speeds the next time I made a vid

I have a dirt cheap kitkat phone using swiftkey. It blows by the dreadful iOS keyboard. No contest at $700+ less in cost. Even on a large iPad screen, the iOS keyboard is bad, I shudder to think of using it on an iphone.

In fact, file management on my all plastic kitkat phone is much easier than on iPhone. And yes I have an iPhone 6s+ in the household that I never use.

And even worse, ios10 made things even worse. I hope 10.1 fixes stuff otherwise I am swearing off all new Apple updates.

Like anything else, depends on individual needs. Both of my parents, and quite a few in their community, are simply too "shakey" for non frustrating touch use. Too often they complain about unintentionally getting into EVERY thing but what they really wanted. I fixed them up with touch disabled 9900s that they love. Wound up setting up & donating quite a few to their friends, also. Some of which, including Mom, were iOS users just a few years ago.

From what I've seen, iOS's relatively short learning curve is noob friendly, regardless of age. Zero force, zero displacement capacitive input, however, is a disaster for some "shakey" folks. Imo.

Despite really liking his touch disabled 9900, Dad just recently reverted back to his non-touch 9650 on OS5 after growing tired of having to manually disable his 99's touch after every battery swap. A weakness in the cobbled up lock app my "smart guys" modified to kill the touch. Otherwise, he's perfectly happy with voice, multiple pops, sms, mms, bbm, calendar, flashlight, rpn calculator, BeWeather, TuneIn radio, alarm clock, etc. They do light browsing on native & Opera, including LOTs of youtuube, but heavy browsing goes to LARGE screen desktop. OS6 is too "laggy" on 9650 but OS5 does everything he wants with "NO phreaking touch screen doing everything BUT what was intended!!". Lol.
