just curious, is the printing smaller using Tapatalk that way? The reason I ask is because with contact lenses, I don't want to go as small as CB looks in the browser mode.......

You can adjust the font and size to your liking in settings.

Or could just go on using the CB app on 9900 and iOS, where it IS possible to see most of what is going on in CB and also liking comments and posts. Honestly not sure I feel like doing that much fiddling. I read through the thread about adding forums etc and well, the old CB app here as bare bones as it is, does most of what it needs to do.

Crap. Thought I did. Guess not. I was getting perstered by that horrid obtrusive floating Facebook advert. Probably misclicked. Site is a bit of an obstacle course & puzzle combined.

I downloaded it. Then followed goodayeh's workaround directions for loading CB Forums.

Ralph: The whole experience in the actual Tapatalk app is very similar to CB app but more customisable, less clunky, and it lets you "Like" posts (though from what I can see it doesn't show you any indication that you did so).

The "Like" or heart symbol does show up after a bit.

Overall I like the experience of the Tapatalk app better than the CB one. On this 9900 it is just that much more refined to make it significantly better.

So thanks goodayeh & Shuswap & jamesp and hope I didn't forget anyone.

Oh ya and punctuation and capitalisation works (never did in the CB app, at least on my Bold

This thread is becoming a lot like the CrackBerry whatever-number-of-posts challenge. Except this one contains useful information.

Oh, and they killed signatures in CB quite a while ago, Ursus Rufus. So the forum is probably stripping out your signature automatically. If you're dying to use it, sigs still work over at webOS Nation.

Edit: that must be incorrect, actually, because Ralph's is working. Just a sec. I'll test it.

haha ya I'm glad for all the info here in this thread and all the contributors, and that it allows the greatest Blackberry device ever devised to have a new life again. (as if it ever left in the first place)

But ya I like the CB app from App World. IF there is ever some disaster like if an asteroid hits, or the earth's air gets sucked into space OR they remove it from App world, THEN I will be needing to follow these steps and asking you guys about 100 questions about how you did it

Well be it ever so clunky & basic the good old CB app from App World is actually pretty good. Seems a bit faster loading than the full Tapatalk app, and if you don't mind a few quibbles, it gets the job done.

Oh & the signature works. Must show our 9900 pride!

Indeed there is. That is the baffling thing. It's there but it doesn't work.

Will send a pic. PS writing this on the same CB app Ralph uses. Works.
