I think I will! In fact, I'm thinking about starting up a new BBM Channel and blog dedicated to the 9900/9930 and fellow users, fans, and enthusiasts!

Let the haters hate. We know what we like so why should they care?

Good idea. I hadn't thought of that.

And when you do we need to join your BBM channel, so be sure to post it here. I never got into Channels, I want to check that out

Probably you are on a " BlackBerry plan". This strategy would not work for me anymore as I migrated to a shared family plan (on Bell). Still ,I might try it.
I was with Eastlink (regional carrier) and just switched Friday to Rogers as I knew they still had BIS and Eastlink doesn't. So I got Rogers' non-share plan (they only have one). I went there with my Passport and didn't mention BIS. When I got home I put the sim in the 9900 and BAM! BIS!

I remember that they let me carry the plan specs over to the iPhone, like the 5 gigs and the minutes, etc, but they had to create a new Nano SIM card for the iPhone. It wasn't expected to be in a Blackberry, and I never expected it to ever go back into a Blackberry again. But you might be right about that.

Ya that has to be my situation too. BIS must be included in all of Roger's plans.

So you have a BIS plan for both devices ?
I remember when I got the iPhone, and they popped the new Nano sim into it, they actually destroy the older Blackberry standard SD sized SIM card in front of you and trash it. It was sad because I could have had 2 devices on the same plan at the same time . But that's what all the companies do, because they make you pay for each line or whatever.....

Haha! Guess they never got the Time Travel option working in Calendar. Lol. Way too easy to wind up in wrong month with Goofy Classic Calendar, anyhow. At least there's no guessing which month you're working with on our 9900s. Well after BIS, I plan to carry my 99 as a pocket calendar till something usable comes along.

lols. My friend in the Philippines was wondering how I knew it was her birthday and I mentioned it a few days ago, before Facebook announces it. (they are a day in the future from our timezone) I really dig how you get the next 3 Birthdays on the home screen of these devices!

This is my favorite BlackBerry commercial ever. I think it captures the essence of what BlackBerry is.
It's a shame that I could not watch this on my 9900
YouTube videos – no problem, but I can't get vimeo to work ... one of the few limitations that I'm more than happy to accept as a Bold Adventurer in 2016

Only smaller, lighter (under 25 kilos) dinosaurs survived Cretaceous–Tertiary. Including crocs and our nimble avion friends, who were compact enough and/or nimble enough to get out of "the weather". Lol. Oversized, overweight dinosaurs ultimately lost the "race"... The efficiently sized form factor ultimately prevailed. Lol.

Maybe not the right place, but I didn't know how much I missed the Bold formfactor until I picked up the Classic after 3 years of BB10 Slabs and Passport. Only thing, I could've sworn the trackpad on the 99 is bigger!

Trackpad's precision makes our 9900's compact screen perfectly usable.

I would associate my oversized, overweight, top heavy Classic with Brontosaurus. IMO. Of course monster sized Samsungs, etc probably claim Titanosaur status. Lol. Any modern bird can also be called a dinosaur. Falcon, comes to mind when thinking of our efficiently nimble 9900... Or maybe phoenix?? Lol.
