Is there any way to sort videos on the Youtube app for Playbook? I don't use the app too often, but noticed the other day when searching, it was not possible to sort my search criteria by date, rating or amount of views. Yes, there are main headings for all these, just not when searching something like "movie trailers". In all honestly, it almost makes the app useless since searching is so much harder now.

    Thanks, kevin

The you tube app could be better. I only use it when I want to let something play in the background. I use the browser most times.

I believe the youtube app for the playbook isn't the official one like the one for android or ios.

I never use the YouTube app, I go to YouTube through the browser....no problems, forgot it was there. Would that be a PlayBook or YouTube problem?

The thing I dislike is that it doesn't tell you the length of videos when browsing videos in the app! Is there a way to have youtube playing in another browser tab while you surf?

Nope, but TubeMate works exceptionally well despite being an Android app. You can get the .bar file from this link and sideload it.

I think the <a href="http://tubematefreedownload.net/">tubemate</a> app is right for you

People still use their BlackBerry PlayBook despite its age and lack of software updates and applications being limited number.

I think that comment was more about thread-iquette than how old the PB is.

Also correct! Now then, I've said too much on this thread, which is old enough to go to school by now.
