I loaded up OS2.0 and downloaded a few Android apps last night. All working great, so big thanks to everyone who's contributed to the tutorials, conversions, and keeping the list up to date.

The only thing for me is I'm unfamiliar with a lot of the apps on the list (https://accounts.google.com/ServiceL...heets&hl=en_US), and as it's pretty long now I'm not sure what's worth downloading.

What are your favourite / most useful Android apps that you have running on your PB?

    p.s. OS2.0 is awesome.

I downloaded a few android apps. My favorites:

    1. Kaiten mail - not exactly, but feel like push mail. Works great. It even push (most of the time) even when it is closed

    2. Pulse - aggregation of news. Good layout

    3. IMDB - movie reviews

    4. Tapatalk - works great. I like the big screen.

Was extremely happy to have amazon mp3. Have tons of songs and now is much easier to stream from the cloud.

How does Whatsapp work on PB? Can you use it on both your phone and PB at the same time?

Hey all- seems that a lot of you are pretty excited about Android apps. From what I have gathered though, it seems that the list will be limited and not all Android apps will be compatible.
Have you guys considered selling your Playbooks to get a real Android device? That goes without saying of course, that all Android apps will be compatible and run out of the box.
    Just my two cents...
I suggest readers to flight over your posts history (just click the nickname) and get an opinion of how relevant is your advice.
Since this is not the best post to do this (I'm a "if you want androd, buy androd" man), your systematic negativity and advertisement for Samsung devices are more than suspect to many of us.

    Just my two cents ...

I really dislike the Android UI, so I would much rather have a tablet with a form factor and hardware like the PB, and have the option to run Android apps inside the QNX environment (which looks even better with the OS2.0 update I think).

It's a great way of extending the app library available to PB users.

Thanks for everyone's replies so far.

How do you connect remotely to servers using Remote RDP entreprise on the PB? Is it through VPN? How well does it work? I thought the PB had limited VPN support.

Kindle. I've installed a lot more, but that gets used more than the rest combined.
