Once you can get a full Windows experience on a tablet, the tablet wars will be over. Android & Apple, any yes, Blackberry, will go to nitche status and MS will dominate the market just like they do with PCs and laptops.

Obviously, windows 8 is a desktop operating system, the only competition for it is mac OS on a tablet, because any of the other mobile operating systems are just that, restricted mobile operating systems and windows is out of their league in terms of application development and developer base. Or actually, the only possible contender from the mobile market is android, as its used similarly to windows in that lots of manufacturers can use it and put on any hardware they want, but honeycomb is nowhere close to what windows is capable.

But then again, not everyone wants to always carry a tablet with full desktop/laptop capabilities, they usually need just less, like just browsing the web and listening to music. Windows 7 tablets are already widely used in enterprise applications, but the good expensive tablets.
