I think so, along with the I'm clients that were being advetised. Makes sense that's probably why im+ was not released. They probably have a deal with I'm clients, I'm only throwing skype in there because it was falsely advertised as well

    Wouldn't hold your breath.

I would, however, count on IM+ being available either bundled with the upgrade or as an AppWorld addition shortly thereafter.

I doubt it. And in case it doesn't come: We're not missing out. My wife has an iPad 2 and I have to say, Skype SUCKS on it. It keeps losing connection, so often that it's borderline useless. Video quality is horrible as well.

Even though she has it on the iPad and I don't on my PlayBook I really don't feel like I'm missing anything.

Doubt it. I thought some folks messaged Skype and they said no.

Skype video works quite well on the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the Touchpad...video quality quite good too.

Video quality is better on the Galaxy Tab as opposed to the iPad because the camera is better. Simple.

ya im going to add a big no to it coming for 2.0. We may have better luck with an android version working on it.

I think the deal is finalized between Microsoft buying Skype. Saw a news clip in passing.

I don't think so. Android Player limitations include VOIP apps.
