    hi all.my girlfreind picked up a 199 boxing day special for mostly ereading.she was quite disapointed in kobo for pb.on her ipod the kobo app has a bunch of full free books.on the pb the kobo app only has samples of the same books.she tried a trial version of epubreader and it wouldnt load her books off her pc.not sure about drm but they open fine on her ipod and android phone.also i have docs to go on my ipod and it opens my microsoft office xml files but the pb version only opens somenot all my files.why are these apps so different on the pb

    Because they say it's difficult to create BlackBerry programs.
    They just dislike BlackBerry so that's why the applications are better on Android/iOS.
    Windows Phone somewhat has the same problem, not really anymore though.

    I think Kobo said that different companies developed the apps (i.e. they subcontracted one company to do the android one, and one company to do the PlayBook one). Hopefully they update the app soon...
