    I just discovered that I only have 5GB of storage left on my BOX account. I once signed up for the free 50GB and had it all this time, but now it shows only 5GB. What happened?
    Also the native app shows an error every time it's opened, even though it still works.

    Nope, just logged in with the browser and it shows only 5GB available. I KNOW it used to be 50.

    they want $20 a month for 50 Gigs. 5 Gigs are free.

    Your best bet i would think is to contact BOX and ask them directly since we all in here can do is just like you, wonder what happened

    This is your best solution. As everyone else in here, I still have my 50GB on my main account and just checked my secondary account which I rarely use and it also has 50GB. Just missed signing up for the recent 25GB promo they were offering

    So I contacted them and they said that it still shows 50GB on their end. I logged in on the web and sure as heck it shows 50GB now!
    The day prior it showed 5GB.
    When you pull up the app in Appworld, read the recent reviews. Seems like I wasn't the only one.
    Reading their FAQ's it states that your promo 50GB would never be downgraded.
    Anyway, I'm glad it's back, just weird that it showed 5GB and they said no, it's 50GB and when I checked again it DID say 500GB.
    Makes one go Hmmm...
