thousands of apps were submitted and takes a while for them to get through the approval process..

Would you of liked RIM to delay 2.0 so it could launch with more android apps? I doubt it.

Agreed. Haven't found one decent android application yet... Pretty much looked everywhere... I can't describe how disappointed I am right now. Tell me if you guys find anything?

Are you looking for a specific app? Or are you looking aimlessly for "good apps"?

Why were they the app titles not at least leaked? People would be ok if they at least had confirmation that a couple of the biggies were announced.

The "good" apps would be native apps, not a 2 minute repackaged job of an android app.

Are there no major android apps available on the day of the much-heralded release of the new OS? That'd be another example of RIM just farking up. There is NO excuse for at least having a couple of the biggies ready to go today.

I dunno. Maybe a decent twitter client? Something, ANYTHING, that makes use of that front facing camera? SOMETHING should have been ready. Don't you think?

I like the video app, but we need something cross platform like Google Talk, Skype or Oovoo if you want people to actually use this thing. My guess is that bbm and video chat will merge, but that is not enough.

If you want a great NATIVE Playbook Twitter app get Blaq, I think it's .99, well worth it, it keeps getting updates to make it better.

And for those other Android apps that haven't been packaged for BB App World yet read this article:
