    I was just curious what this splashtop app does? And what is remote access? What good is this remote access, is it to say that you can see what s going on somewhere else over the radio on some remote screen?

    SplashTop is used to make a mirror image of your computer or laptop onto your mobile/tablet device. The streamer goes on your Windows machine and the SplashTop app is installed onto your BB10/PlayBook . When enabled you can access info from your computer remotely even.

    Right. So what is the streamer? Is it the streamer that is sending over the radio and app is just the means to recieve it and vise versa? Probably, no?

    Correct. The app has within it controls to move your computer mouse so that you can access files and folders etc, shut your computer down, play video from the computer and so on.
