Android player is an android Emulator made by RIM.
They are under development and you cannot download it from App World.
You can side load it but it takes time.

And only a certain selection of apps work. Angry Birds isn't one of them. As of yet anyway.
angry birds works just fine on my playbook
You are probably running the Angry Birds that was hacked/formatted unofficially for the PlayBook... Android player has not been released officially by RIM and the leaked version has many bugs. Many apps available via the leaked Android Player do not work at all and Angry Birds is one of them.

if you want angry birds so badly play the flash game on the net works well with playbook i find anyway
angry birds sucks!
for you maybe, thank you for your opinion. but i did like wasting time playing it and i don't like the idea of using my crappy iPhone again just to do so. i like one device for stuff. plus the only other thing that runs it is my Android and Android is horridly slow at least on the tablet i have.
thanks to the rest for the proper replies, sorry i think i posted in the wrong forum, figured it was BlackBerry Games but i hit Playbook by mistake
